It’s a gloomy morning here in LA and I’ve gaines some weight so I’m back up to 279. Both of these have me feeling a little down today. Rather than wallow in pity I’ve decided to take a queue from Julie Andrews and think of a few of my favorite things.
- kittens and puppies
- children’s laughter
- manicures and pedicures
- talking with my daughter
- Maurice
- peanut butter by the spoon
- Reeses cups
- laying on the beach
- cookie dough
- blogging
- random web surfing
- dancing
- sunrises and sunsets
- romance comedies
- watching “The Birdcage” for the thousandth time
- the desert
- Boston
- horseback riding
- web designing
The list could go on and on, but I just needed a few to life my spirits a tad bit.
Don’t forget, I’ll be doing “Ask Uncle Bradley” again this Friday, so if you have a question you’d like to ask be sure to get it in. You can ask in any of the comments sections or you can send an email. If you send an email be sure to notate whether you want it to be anonymous or not.
Wonderful list!! Have you tried peanut butter on a spoon then dipped into premade chocolate frosting?Or frozen chocolate dipped Oreo cookies?Just what you need more food ideas.Just thinking about the Birdcage makes me laugh.
Love the list. I’ve been known to amble around humming or singing the song when I feel like crud. It can help to get me going again. Glad to see it’s helped you too!
I love that movie lol.I’m afraid of horses, fallen off too many times. My brother had one that used to like to bite people. I think what Bo Derek said is true?…mostly bond with woman ?
I love your list, it’s practically mine! lolI seriously love watching Sound of Music (that would be on my list) and I love packages wrapped in brown paper tied with string and have done that at Christmas before.I am a “Family Stone” movie addict though, cry each time I watch it.I’ve discovered peanut butter filled oreos this week, to my stomach’s demise!I think this time of year is depression central for many people, and I know when I lived in Ca I hated the fall for the wild fires and how they make the sky all dark, it would always depress me.Hang in there, I’m working on my Uncle Bradley question! It’s about how men feel about overweight women (hint)?
