This Is Me

Thursday I was tagged by The Unstable Blogger to come up with 6 words to describe myself. Yesterday, both Clinically Clueless and Shiv posted their “Wordle” as I did below. I was impressed so saw this as a way of killing two birds with one stone. Just click on it to see the words I chose.

Doing the Wordle was more difficult than expected. It’s tough to be so introspective and can be painful. For me it was painful, enlightening and cathartic. I think for some, some it may be something they choose to do with a friend nearby.

  1. Great idea to combine them. I love how yours turned out…there should be a warning on Wordle because it ends up being so emotional. But, for others it is just for fun as you can tell by the gallery. But, us over in the mental health arena are more introspective. Thanks for sharing yourself with your Wordle.

  2. This reminds me of the Johari window, which I have done a bit about in my counselling course.I did a post on it ages at the beginning of my counselling course and I wonder how much it will of changed since then. Here is a link to that post, if you wanted to wanted to know more Johari Window.

  3. Me again , I apologise if I am annoying you :)Can I link to your wordle post? You have inspired me to do one and do an update of that post I left the link for.

  4. Hi Shiv,Thank you for the scolding. I started to edit thing as I went along but stopped myself and let it flow. I wasn’t in a good space at the time. I was feeling pretty conflicted as you may be able to tell from so many words which are opposites.Your post in which you comment to me is very nice. I appreciate the extra love.

  5. No no no! If you are writing something entitled “This is Me” then there is one word there that I strongly disagree with. “Insignificant”.You are in no way insignificant my friend, not in the eyes of Maurice, not in the eyes of your blogging buddies, and most certainly not in the eyes of God or as I should put it for you and I, not in respect to the universal energy. I also do not consider you fat, smug, boring, arrogant, ugly, or any of the other negative things you see in yourself, but most of all know that you are by no means insignificant.I’m going to post a quote on my blog for you now…Blessed Be my friend,~Shiv

  6. Thank you for asking, Michelle. Currently we only hold the depression and bipolar support group on the 1st and 3rd Sunday. Yesterday was the 5th Sunday. That’s something we’ll have to consider when it happens again. 3 weeks is a long time to go without a session.
