Blogs I Read

quill

Hello to all my fellow bloggers out there (and to the civilian population as well.) I’ve finally begun starting a Blogroll, which you’ll see further down on the side listed as “Blogs I Read.” Many of you have been kind enough to place my blog on your list, but I have been unable to reciprocate. For whatever reason, WordPress took away the Links section from all newer versions of their Dashboard, thus making it impossible to create a blogroll without some kind of hack. Well, I finally found a hack and Ta-Da I finally have a blogroll. It’s still a work in progress, but, if you know I’m a regular reader of your blog (and I read a lot of them) please drop me a note and I will be happy to add you to the list. Fortunately most of us don’t post every day or it would be impossible to read all the wonderful blogs out there.

For those of you who aren’t bloggers, but are interested in reading other blogs, the blogs I’ve listed on “Blogs I Read” is a good place to start. I’m picky regarding what blogs I’ll put on the list so I feel very comfortable recommending them to you.

I wish all of you a wonderful weekend.

  1. Thanks Bradley! I was lucky enough, after 10 months of unemployment and a reassessment of my wants and needs, to start working part-time this past Monday at a new position offered to me. I have made my blog private for now, as I don’t have the time I once did to keep up with it all, AND am fairly certain that my new employer is in direct opposition to all I stand for and believe in, politically, socially, and spiritually.

However, it’s a great position with very flexible hours and a good pay rate and will let me be home for my developmentally disabled daughter as she starts her day and as she returns from her day program. I don’t want to take the chance that before getting to know me and my work ethic, he might search my blog (I mentioned during the initial interview with him that I was a fledgling writer with a blog, as editing and proofreading is a part of the job description) and immediately become disenchanted by my personal views, which diametrically oppose his. I will continue to read your blog as you post!

    1. I’m very disappointed you won’t be blogging openly anymore but completely understand the reason. I’ll take your blog off the list, but will be sad doing so. Sounds like a good opportunity for you though. I wish you the best.

      1. If I can figure out how to blog anonymously (without using my real name and my real photo) I will get back to it. Searching for a job over the past month just reminded me, and I really needed reminding, that being honest has its downfalls. I’ll let you know when I figure it all out. And as I said, I’ll stay in touch by reading your posts, promise!

      2. Hey Bradley. I finally had some time to play around with my page and sufficiently make myself anonymous. If you want to put me back on your list, I would be delighted.

  2. Thanks, Bradley! I have been meaning to update my blogroll, too. I saw a really neat one on someone’s website (can’t remember who, now) that had it listed not just as names but like a “hover-over” photo. I’m not very technically savvy, however, so will probably just work on getting it down the easy way. Thanks again…you know I love your blog!

    1. Mine are suppose to give a brief description of the blog when you hover over it, but it wasn’t working. 🙁

      1. It’s awesome. Lets you reblog from anywhere on the web.
        Go to:

        And you’re done 🙂
