Technical Difficulties

Sorry that I’m having technical difficulties.

Some of you are not receiving notifications when there is a new post.

Almost all of you are not receiving notifications when someone replies to a comment you made.

I’m working with the techies over at WordPress and I anticipate the problems will be fixed this weekend.

Thank you for hanging in there with me through my frustration.

    Tech problems over week poss 10 days. WP decides to send all CS to conference. Just like over the holidays last year. How can they get away with ? No competition! I’ve worked on a post of all the issues encountered since they left town. My gut says they did an update/upgrade didn’t troubleshot before leaving and we are stuck with same issues. I have spent several hours trying to fix before giving up. Do you think their business costomers were left with the same? Doubt it, source of income differ CS coverage. I’m mad as hell, i stopped receiving people’s comments via email and the list goes on.
    I plan to post and the WP Developer who follows me on twitter may wake up to the fact we’ve been f** over again by their lack of professionalism and feel non accountable to the 18 million+ blogs. Maybe they will see the errors a get corrected this weekend. I pretty much left in your lap, thanks friend!

      Yeah, I don’t think there’s a problem with the email subscriptions. It’s the WordPress reading that’s not working.

      Thanks for trying. I was given a long series of steps to follow and then a patch to download which is supposed to fix the problem. I’ll do it all this weekend and hopefully my post on Monday will show up. Wish me luck.

          In WordPress’ defense. It’s not them I’m working with. Since I self host, they can’t see the back end. They have vendors that provide features to make our systems perform a lot like those who host through WordPress. Many of the benefits are better. The negative is that the two biggest vendors are away the exact same days as WordPress. Sounds like they’re having one big happy convention.
